NAMM 2021: D’Addario showcases Chromatic Pedal Tuner+, a unique tuner

As we stand, the NAMM Believe in Music Week event is just days away. As such, some companies have dropped surprise products in preparation for bigger rollouts in the coming days. Seemingly, D’Addario falls into that category as well. So, just days out from music’s largest event of the year, we caught a glimpse at the company’s first product. Coming through in the form of a pedal tuner called the Chromatic Pedal Tuner+.

D’Addario Chromatic Pedal Tuner+ Features

This new format mainly brings updates and performance improvements to D’Addario’s existing Chromatic Pedal Tuner. Borrowing the speed and accuracy of the original, while boosting performance with two new features on-board. The first of which, is a high-quality signal buffer which maintains the sound across long cable runs, and prevents signal loss through the effect chain. Additionally, the company equipped a programmable countdown timer, aiding musicians who need help keeping track of set or session times.

Otherwise, the D’Addario Chromatic Pedal Tuner+ borrows the same features from its earlier edition. A colorful digital display sits large at the front, just above the foot switch. On the side is the newly added button to activate the countdown mode, and another to calibrate the pedal for proper functionality. Speaking of, the Chromatic Pedal Tuner+ uses the same 32-bit processor for a speed and response time like no other.
