PreSonus’s Deep Flight One instrument library drops to earth

Composers and producers using PreSonus’s Studio One now have another powerful option of add-on instrument packs. The newest library from PreSonus, Deep Flight One, is made specifically with Studio One‘s Presence XT sampler in mind. This library draws on scarcely found analog and digital synths, as well as layered field recordings. This creates a vast range of huge, deep sound environment possibilities that can be achieved with Deep Flight One.

What’s Inside?

Because they include both synthesized and field recording-based origins, tonal and atonal sounds can both be found in this library. While users can load up and use each preset individually, the true magic of Deep Flight One comes with layering. Through layering, and controlling parameters such as envelopes and modulation, producers will quickly discover the true power that lies underneath. Real time Note FX plugins available through PreSonus Studio One Professional can also come in handy when paired with Deep Flight One. This includes the ability to include arpeggiators, chorders, and rhythmic gating effects. The video above, (cleverly also featuring the company’s new Atom SQ controller), definitely shows the true achievable power with this pack.

Luckily, current members of PreSonus Sphere already have access to Deep Flight One as a free download included in their memberships. Otherwise, anyone looking to add Deep Flight One to their Studio One workstation, can do so for $99.95. In total, the pack includes over 400 single and multi instrument presets created from over 3 GB of sampled content. Finally, PreSonus added a collection of 50 matching loops, providing a perfect foundation for creative ideas, with full editing ability. To learn even more about the Deep Flight One instrument library add-on for Studio One, head over to its website. On the other hand, those ready to pull the trigger can find it right inside Studio One, or from PreSonus’s dedicated add-ons page.
