The IK Multimedia AmpliTube Joe Satriani collection helps you replicate Joe’s tone

Wish you could get your guitar tone to sound like the legendary Joe Satriani? Now you can. IK Multimedia has launched a new Joe Satriani AmpliTube collection of guitar and bass amplifiers that essentially allow you to access digital versions of the gear that Satriani uses every day.

The collection is available for Mac, PC, iPhone, and iPad, meaning that no matter where you want to rock out, you’ll be able to access these awesome tools.

Not only that, but you’ll also be able to dial in presets related to specific Satriani songs, which will help you even better achieve an authentic tone. Pedals

The AmpliTube Joe Satriani collection includes a total of five pedals, each aimed at replicating classic pedals in Satriani’s lineup. For starters, you’ll be the Satch Wah, which is modeled after a Vox BBW Wah. Next up is the Satch Dist, which is modeled after an early 80s Japanese-made Boss DS-1. Then, there’s the Satch Overdrive, which is modeled after an early 80s OD-1. Finally, you’ll get the Tube Overdrive, modeled after a mid-80s Chandler Tube Driver, and the Satch Octave, modeled after an Ultimate Octave.

Amplifiers and cabinets

You’ll get some sweet amplifiers and cabinets in the collection too. Notably, there’s the Satch VM, which is modeled after Satriani’s classic Marshall JVM410HJS signature head. You’ll also get the SJ50, which is modeled after a 93 Peavey 5150, and a Boston 100, which is an expanded version of the ‘82 Schulz Rockman model.
