Gibson unveils ES-Les Paul guitar

Gibson recently unveiled a mashup of two of their classic guitars. Using the ES design and the Les Paul design, Gibson has come up with the new ES-Les Paul.

The guitar features an ES-style laminated maple tops with a semi-acoustic construction and f-holes, along with a Les-Paul style shape. The pickups are a Custom Bucker AL3 in the neck position, and a Custom Bucker AL5 in the bridge. The guitar is certainly new for Gibson, but maybe it will take off! You can buy the guitar for yourself here.
