Antares Auto-Tune EFX+ brings advanced real-time retune speed to your DAW

If you’ve ever found yourself recording vocals on the fly, and finding trouble applying real-time pitch correction to your artist, we’ve got some great news for you. Antares, the company widely popular for its Auto-Tune plugin that has taken on a name-generalization to pitch correction (similar to that of Google or Xerox), are back again with Auto-Tune EFX+ — a brand new plugin that brings improvements to real-time processing. With the features added to this plugin, users can now truly take control during recording, and not have to worry much about latency issues.

Features

With Auto-Tune EFX+, Antares has improved mainly upon user-experienced problems when recording vocals, and applying a pitch tuning effect real-time. Now equipped with fully adjustable ‘retune speed’ and ‘humanize’ parameters, users can take more control than ever before. The new plugin also offers a library of multi-effects so that you can select an effect as a starting point to better drive in the exact pitch control needed for the final sought-after effect. This includes a real-time throat control adjuster is also included in EFX+, which brings a new level of overall tone-adjustment to your vocals. Additionally, this library brings the ability to apply a vocoder effect, tube-amp simulation, and mutation effects if you need some truly surgical vocal adjustment while maintaining audible integrity and low-latency whether your artist is in the studio, or on the stage.

Antares Auto-Tune EFX+ sits third place in the range of Auto-Tune plugins, just above Auto-Tune Access, and as a more affordable option than Auto-Tune Live or Pro. If you’re ready to make the jump, the plugin will run you just $199 for all of the exciting benefits it offers over the ‘Access’ version. If you’re not quite ready yet however, feel free to visit Antares’ website to learn more about the features and specs that EFX+ has to offer beforehand. Alternatively, you can head straight to Plugin Boutique to get the new plugin for yourself.
