Seymour Duncan releases the 805 overdrive pedal

While Seymour Duncan is certainly best known for their pickups, some might be aware of the fact that they also make guitar pedals. The latest addition to their line of pedals is the 805 overdrive pedal.

The pedal is based on the classic 808, but adds a 3 band EQ to the mix, something that isn’t found that much on overdrive pedals. According to Seymour Duncan, it is a very versatile pedal, and can be used to add a smooth overdrive to a blue lick, or to create a modern metal tone. Check out the video below, and let us know in the comments what you think of the pedal!
