Gibson introduces the Joe Bonamassa 1959 Les Paul

Gibson today introduced the Joe Bonamassa 1959 Les Paul “Skinnerburst” model, featuring Gibson’s Custombucker and Burstbucker pickups, which were favored by Joe Bonamassa himself.

The guitar will also feature a precise neck profile, and an aged look finish, giving it that well used look. The guitar is a perfect representation of Joe Bonamassa’s Les Paul, and Gibson studied every inch of his guitar to make it.

The guitar will be limited edition, with 150 being hand-aged by Tom Murphy, 50 of those played and signed by Joe himself. A further 150 will be treated by Gibsons VOS process. 300 guitars will be released in total. What do you think of the guitar? Let us know in the comments!
